Suicide and Depression

Suicide begins with depression. A way to interpret this is the person has a tendency to pull into themselves and turns their feelings inward instead of outwards. In other words, instead of being angry or expressive outwardly, the person will blame themselves for all of the troubles. This is why it is ok to listen to a depressed or angry person when there is no threatening of the other. A depressed or suicidal person needs to express themselves to others. This in its self will greatly diminish the suicidal thoughts. A quick and understanding intervention needs to take place to alleviate the possible threat. Reaching out will greatly help a depressed person.
